As of December 2022, Eurofarma had attracted investments of 150 million U.S. dollars. Eurofarma is a biotechnology pharmaceutical company headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. As of that date, Atarraya Inc. a biotechnology company that offers sustainable shrimp farming solutions and is based in the city of Zapopan, Mexico,had attracted investments of close to 12 million U.S. dollars. In 2021, Germany was the main exporter of cold water shrimps and prawns in the world.
