As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India in 2019, majority of the people of both genders preferred a non-vegetarian diet. The non-vegetarian diet consists of both vegetarian foods and non-vegetarian foods. People often chose a vegetarian diet due to religious regions and other times it was a lifestyle choice.
