According to a survey on Malaysian millennials' saving behavior conducted in May 2019, 42 percent of respondents stated that it was difficult for them to save any money. Another survey conducted in the same year revealed that the main reason for Malaysians to not save any money was because they wanted to focus on paying off their debts first.
