According to a survey on Malaysian millennials' money management conducted in May 2019, respondents who are savers and non-savers engaged in freelance work or side businesses in order to achieve their savings goals, with 52 and 53 share of respondents respectively. The same survey also found that 78 percent of the respondents saved their money.
