Mexico: number of murder victims per day 2019-2022
The number of murders peaked since the partial lockdown imposed by the government to halt the spread of coronavirus in Mexico. Between March and April 2020, the number of intentional homicides committed per day in Mexico was significantly higher than the figures reported a year earlier, except from June. January 2022 registered the lowest average of intentional homicides in the period under consideration: 66.5 murders a day.
