According to a 2019 survey carried out by Axon, 42 percent of Latin American tourism companies surveyed reported to be willing to spent up to 20 percent of their annual sales in marketing strategies using influencers that year. Meanwhile, 18 percent of respondents said that they planned to invest between 20 percent and 40 percent of their annual sales in such social network marketing strategies.

* Survey was conducted among attendees of the international ANATO fair in Bogota, Colombia. The sample of the survey include 100 users of tourism services and 50 tourism service providers such as destination promotion agencies, travel agencies, hotels, and airlines.
