Opinion on getting married among college students in China 2020

According to the survey among Chinese college students conducted between November 2019 and February 2020, about 73.1 percent of respondents said they only wanted to get married to the right partner. Meanwhile, about 8.5 percent of respondents didn't want to marry at all.

Multiple answers were possible.

Respondents were from 1,764 higher education institutions across 34 provinces in China, including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
68.07 percent respondents were from universities offering Bachelor’s degrees, and 31.93 percent from higher vocational education institutes.
59.67 percent at their first year, 22.59 percent at their second year, 11.11 percent at their third year and 6.54 percent at their fourth year.
34.2 percent were biologically male and 65.8 percent were biologically female.
