According to a survey conducted in Nigeria in 2019, herbicides were used in 75.7 percent of rice crops. Moreover, herbicides were widespread among maize crops and groundnut crops as well. Animal tractions were used in some 70 percent of sesame and beni-seeds crops, which was the most common inputs applied in these crops.
