Number of FamilyMart branches Thailand 2016-2022
In 2022, there were 415 FamilyMart outlets in Thailand, indicating a continuous decrease from the previous years. In that year, there were more than 21 thousand convenience stores nationwide, with 7-Eleven taking the lead in terms of outlet quantity. Nevertheless, in 2023, Central Group announced the closure of all FamilyMart branches in Thailand following the loss of profits for the fifth consecutive year. Instead, the group will rebrand the stores into Tops Daily branches.
