Nearly 47 thousand work permits for highly qualified professionals were issued in Russia in 2021, more than twice as much as in the previous year. The amount of qualified specialists who received a work permit in the country exceeded 6.8 thousand in 2021. In total, more than 93 thousand work permits were issued in Russia in that year.
