In 2018 and 2019, Colombia was the leading Latin American country for corporate sustainability concerning companies' climate strategy, with a score 88 and 83 points, respectively. Brazil was the second on the ranking in both years. For the ranking, 267 companies distributed among five countries in the region were evaluated. When considering all five countries, Latin America's average for corporate climate sustainability performance was 49 points in 2019, from 100 total possible points.

* The Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) has been carried out by RobecoSAM since 1999. In 2018, 241 Latin American companies participated in the study. Companies are evaluated on a series of sustainability criteria that
covers economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Each evaluated company receives a score from 0 to100, ranking against other companies in its industry. The score of a country corresponds to the average resulting from the companies studied in each listed country. Further information about the methodology can be found on page 4 of the report.
