According to a survey carried out in the United Kingdom in 2019, over 41 percent of junior doctors reported they were suffering from any form of depression, anxiety, burnout, or stress which was affecting their work. Although junior doctors had the highest share of mental ill health, all branches of doctors reported a relatively high share of stress, depression, and burnout.
