Planned eSports event attendance worldwide in 2022
The eSports market has boomed in recent years with more and more viewers tuning in to watch their favorite games being played by some of the best gamers in the world. Players can compete against each other, individually or in teams, in multiplayer video game tournaments across the world, which are often played out in front of a live audience. During a global survey in September 2021, only seven percent of eSports fans stated that they would definitely attend an in-person eSports event in 2022.
