In a 2021 survey among small and medium-sized enterprises in Mexico, approximately 58 percent of participating SMEs reported selling online, down from 64.2 percent of businesses the previous year. This decline is likely due to many SMEs companies moving their business online during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Gradually returning to business as usual, physical store sales are picking up again.
