Expectation on time for hotel industry to recover from coronavirus in China 2020

According to the survey conducted among more than 600 lodging enterprises in China, around 90 percent of respondents believed that the lodging industry would recover in three to six months after the COVID-19 pandemic ended. About seven percent of respondents said it would take at lease one year.

91 percent hotels, 6 percent guesthouses, and 3 percent apartment hotels;
32 percent five-star hotels or equivalent, 22 percent four-star hotels or equivalent, 19 percent three-star hotels or equivalent, and 27 percent budget hotels;
43 percent non-eco hotels and 57 percent eco hotels;
66 percent non-chain hotels, 12 percent domestic chained-brand hotels, and 22 percent international chained-brand hotels.
