In 2020, the vast majority of Poland's respondents believed that global warming is a recognized scientific fact. According to 78 percent of Poles, the best way to protect the environment and climate is through renewable energy. On the other hand, 44 percent of those surveyed said that Poland should use its coal resources in the power industry, and 49 percent believed that the use of fossil fuels such as coal and oil should be restricted in Poland. Sixty percent of Poles are ready to pay a higher price for cars that will emit fewer fumes or have other pro-ecological solutions.
