In a survey carried out in 2019 about feeling lonely in South Korea, 67.2 percent of respondents in the younger generation replied that they felt lonely in everyday life. According to the source, female respondents felt lonelier than their male counterparts, and unmarried respondents had a higher ratio of feeling lonely in comparison to married respondents in their answers.
