In a survey about imported foreign cars carried out in South Korea in 2020, 90.3 percent of respondents felt that it was harder to receive after sales services such as repairs or maintenance for imported cars. Overall, imported cars were regarded in a better light in terms of functionality, safety, and design than domestic cars. However, survey respondents also replied that imported cars were much more problematic to own.
