Leading industries of the ChiNext market on the SZSE China 2023

In 2023, 891 companies listed on the ChiNext market in China were from the manufacturing industry. Because the listing standards were less strict on the ChiNext compared to the other boards of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, young enterprises had easier access to funding. As a response to the economic impact of COVID-19, the ChiNext introduced new additional regulations in April that allowed companies to list that had not yet generated profit. Furthermore, the stock exchange could admit IPOs without the permission of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
