In 2020, most museums, galleries, and similar cultural institutions in Italy were not interested in chatbots. Data show that roughly seven in ten institutions did not provide this type of digital tool to its audience. However, 24 percent of the museums and other institutions involved in the survey claimed that they were planning to provide chatbots in the future.
