Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin report deaths for Asians and Pacific Islanders jointly, so a small number of Pacific Islanders are included here. Denominators for those states include both groups. Population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, 2019 American Community Survey.
