Sixty-five percent of respondents worldwide intended to move their databases to hybrid arrangement that deploys both on-premise and public cloud solutions in the next one to two years, according to a 2018 survey of data managers and professionals. Another 12 percent of respondents said that their companies are ready to move most data or functions to public cloud providers.
