According to a survey from 2019, 42 percent of Swedish consumers preferred to buy new clothes regularly throughout the year. Clothing purchases during the peak sales season were quite common as well, stated by 27 percent of respondents. By comparison, only three percent named the start of the school year as their favorite time to buy clothes in Sweden.
