According to the result of a recent survey conducted by the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, 64 percent of Xiaomi smartphone users as of the end of 2019 were male, which was the second highest rate after Sony among the ten major brands.

The survey was conducted among 2,945 female and 3,294 male respondents. Surveyed countries included Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.
