According to the result of a survey conducted by the Mobile Ecosystem Forum in the end of 2019, about 15 percent of smartphone users in China were above 45 years old, which was one of the highest rates among the ten countries surveyed.
Smartphone user age distribution among respondents in China as of December 2019
The survey was conducted among 2,945 female and 3,294 male respondents. Surveyed countries included Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.
