Uruguay: new duck-hunting licenses 2017-2018
The number of new licenses requested and issued for duck-hunting in Uruguay showed an increase of 140 percent between 2017 and 2018. That last year, 372 new licenses were issued for that type of sport, up from 155 licenses a year earlier. As a consequence, duck-hunting as sport was suspended by the Uruguayan government for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
