ATM cash withdrawal value in EU 2000-2022

EU-27 ATM cash withdrawals made picked up by several billion euros after the coronavirus pandemic. In 2022, the value of ATM cash withdrawals (except e-money transactions) at terminals provided by resident PSPs with cards issued by resident PSPs was roughly 1.2 trillion euros across the entirety of the European Union. The number of withdrawals also picked up, as a consequence.
