After the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, value of ATM cash withdrawals decreased in the European Union. In 2023, the value of ATM cash withdrawals (except e-money transactions) was roughly 1.2 trillion euros across the European Union. However, in 2018, this value was recorded at around 1.3 trillion. The number of withdrawals also declined, as a consequence.
