The value of venture capital (VC) investments into fintech in the United Kingdom (UK) amounted to 11.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2022, which was a decrease compared to the previous year but still remained higher than prior to 2021. Between 2017 and 2022, the value of VC investments grew sharply, with 2021 recording the highest value of VC investments (14 billion U.S. dollars).
