In a 2020 survey, roughly 53 percent of import or export cold chain businesses revealed financial support and protection for business should be the main mitigation measures of governments to best protect the cold chain from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. During that same survey, 18 percent of surveyed people globally revealed that their post COVID-19 expected revenue for 2020 will be over 15 percent lower compared to pre-crisis revenue expectations for 2020.
