As of December 2020, 38 percent of Russians aged 18 to 24 years would prefer to get an imported vaccine against COVID-19 when one became available, which was five percent higher than the share of respondents in that age group that would choose the local product. However, representatives of older generations stated they would rather get a vaccine that was developed within Russia.
