According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Indonesia, 78 percent of the respondents aged 45 to 54 stated they preferred shopping in a physical store and being able to inspect the product before buying it during COVID-19 pandemic as of May 2020. Meanwhile, 19 percent of the respondents aged 16 to 24 years old, stated that they wanted to support local brick and mortar shops during the crisis.
