In 2023, industrial real estate was the most attractive type of property to foreign investors. The value of cross-border capital invested in the sector was 12.6 billion U.S. dollars. This was about one third of the total foreign investment for the four property types. Canada was the biggest foreign investor in that year, while some of the main destinations for foreign investments were Dallas and Los Angeles.
