Share of people who think fake news threatens democracy in Brazil 2021
During a survey conducted in Brazil in September 2021, approximately 77 percent of respondents stated that fake news involving politicians and justices of the Supreme Federal Court (STF, as abbreviated in Portuguese) were a threat to democracy. Around 19 percent of the interviewees said the opposite, while three percent said they did not know.
