Opinions on safety measures on tourist beaches during the coronavirus in Italy 2020
According to a survey from 2020, most Italians believed that tourist beach facilities should sanitize their spaces consistently during the coronavirus pandemic. Data show that 64 percent of respondents believed that they should disinfect everything with specific sanitizers. Moreover, about six in ten interviewees claimed that a safe distance of one meter should be left among the sunbeds on the beach. By contrast, only one in ten respondents thought that everyone should wear face masks on the beach.
