The 2019/2020 season was special, due to the containment related to COVID-19 decreed on March 17, 2020 by the French authorities, the ski resorts were unable to welcome skiers during the spring vacations. However, tourists prefer other times of the year, with priority given to winter vacations in February.
During the 2019/2020 season, more than a third of holidaymakers chose this period to go skiing.
