According to a survey conducted in 2020, most Italians who only went to free music concerts before the coronavirus emergency tended to watch music gigs on TV or online during the months of lockdown. Data show that roughly six in ten respondents within this group claimed to have watched a music event either online or on TV. Overall, those who preferred to watch rerun shows on television were roughly the double of those who watched music events online.
