Fair trade certifications such as Max Havelaar are widely recognized for labelling food products. However, they can be found on many other types of goods to a lesser extent. In 2022, in France, 95 percent of fair trade products sold in France were food products. The remaining five percent are split between craftsmanship, cosmetics, clothing, tourism and flowers.
