Republicans are more likely to believe that Donald Trump exerts no influence over FOX news, with a survey showing that 48 percent of respondents affiliated with the Republican party said that Trump has no influence at all on the news organization. The public opinion on the amount of influence that Trump holds on FOX news is strongly affected by political identity, as only 14 percent of Democrats hold the same opinion, with 61 percent of Democrats stating that he has a lot of influence on the news channel.
