Share of adults in the U.S. that think Yahtzee is a game of chance as of May 2020
Yahtzee is a widely-known board game in which the ultimate goal is to earn the highest points by rolling five dice to make certain combinations. As with all games, players typically need elements of both skill and luck. However, some games are known for needing more skill than others. In a 2020 survey conducted by YouGov, 49 percent of respondents in the United States stated that Yahtzee was a game of luck rather than skill. In contrast, 22 percent of respondents believed that Yahtzee was a game of skill.
