Among European ports offering on-shore power supply at their berths, the most popular technology were fixed installations in 2022, with 100 percent of ports adopting this technology. Mobile installations were present only in 14 percent of the ports, as they come with greater investment and operation costs than fixed installations. One in two ports provided high voltage power supply, compared to 86 percent providing low voltage.
