Pre-packaged sandwiches have become rather popular among the French population, whether they are consumed at work, at home or on the go. Between 2015 and 2017, 41 percent of French households had bought ready-to-eat sandwiches at least once a year. This type of sandwiches was most popular among people between 35 and 49 years old, with 55 percent of pre-packaged sandwich consumers among this age group.
