Annual change in mobile shopping MAUs from rural areas in China 2019, by platform
As of March 2019, the Chinese monthly active shoppers of fresh e-commerce services grew by around 51 percent in in small cities and rural areas compared to the same period in the previous year. The year-on-year growth of second-hand platform users reached about 45 percent. The small cities and rural areas in China have a large consumer base and huge market potential.
