According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Malaysia, 55 percent of female and male respondents stated they purchased food and grocery items online during the COVID-19 pandemic as of May 2020. In contrast, only two percent of the female respondents stated they purchased alcoholic beverages online.
