Problems with national health care system in Italy 2023
A 2023 survey found that more than half of Italians indicated access to treatment and/or long waiting times was the biggest problem facing the national healthcare system. Lack of staff, bureaucracy, and lack of investment were also considered to be pressing issues. This statistic reveals the share of individuals who said select problems were the biggest facing the health care system in Italy in 2023.
