According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Indonesia, 67 percent of the respondents aged 55 and above stated they increased their online purchases to minimize their time outside the house and practiced social distancing as of May 2020. The same survey shows that Malaysians also decreased their online purchases due to the economical impact during the pandemic.

3,186 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
1,891 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
630 respondents aged 45 to 54 years,
297 respondents aged 55 years and above
