In 2022, South Korea imported some 183,000 motor vehicles from the European Union, an increase of 25 percent compared with 2021. In 2021, South Korea was the country that experienced the largest decline in EU motor vehicle imports in 2021. In 2022, South Korea accounted for roughly three percent of EU motor vehicle exports.
