In a survey conducted on April 2020 regarding political choices of Singaporeans for the general election in 2020, 73 percent of male respondents believed that equal opportunities are now available for men and women while 62 percent of female respondents thought so.
Singapore had scheduled its 13th general elections on July 10, with campaigning beginning on July 1. Due to COVID-19, special livestreaming facilities will be set up during the campaign period. Candidates will be able to hold e-rallies at these facilities.
