According to data from September 2021, Norway showed the highest penetration rate of subscription-based video streaming services among selected Western European countries, at nearly 79 percent. The other Scandinavian countries Denmark and Sweden followed behind. In comparison, subscription OTT reached less than 50 percent of the households in Italy.
