In the first quarter of 2019, a total of 79.2 percent of households in the United Kingdom subscribed to a Video on Demand service. The majority at 36.9 percent subscribed to both Broadcaster Video on Demand (BVoD) and Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) with BVoD commanding the larger share of the two. Only 21.8 percent of households did not subscribe to a Video on Demand service.
