In a survey conducted on April 2020 regarding political choices of Singaporeans for the general elections in 2020, 78 percent of People's Action Party (PAP) voters were optimistic for the next generation while 51 percent of opposition voters were optimistic.
Singapore had scheduled its 13th general elections on July 10, with campaigning beginning on July 1. Due to COVID-19, special livestreaming facilities will be set up during the campaign period. Candidates will be able to hold e-rallies at these facilities.
